Ivanka Jerić

Dr. Ivanka Jerić is a Professor and Assistant Director at the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI), specializing in the Division of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Her research focuses on peptide synthesis, glycomimetics, and synthetic methodologies for drug discovery. She earned her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Zagreb. She leads major projects like 'Increasing the conformational diversity of peptides' (2023-2027) and coordinates the ERDF project O-ZIP (2020-2027). Awards include the RBI Annual Award (2010) and the Krka Prize (2001). She advises students and contributes to professional societies like the American Chemical Society and European Peptide Society. Her work spans peptidomimetics, enediyne chemistry, and bioactive molecule design.
