Ivan Malušević

Ivan Malušević is a Research Associate at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, specializing in soil and water erosion and conservation. He works within the Department of Environmental Engineering in the Protection of Land and Water Resources and is affiliated with the Laboratory for Torrents and Erosion.

Education:

• Graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade (Department of Erosion Protection)
• M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering (Protection of Land and Water Resources) in 2015
• Enrolled in doctoral studies at the Department of Environmental Engineering in 2015

His research focuses on erosion dynamics, GIS-based risk analysis, and sustainable land-water management. Recent work explores urban flood mitigation via blue-green corridors and erosion control in alpine ecosystems.

Publications: Three peer-reviewed papers (2013–2015) highlight his expertise in watershed-scale erosion modeling, land use impacts, and infrastructure development in sensitive environments.
