Ivan Jurković

Prof. Ivan Jurković is a Full Professor at the Department of Medieval History, Faculty of Humanities in Pula, University of Primorska. He holds a Ph.D. from 2004 and specializes in medieval and early modern European history, with a focus on Croatian nobility, religious iconography, and cultural heritage. His research explores topics such as the Frankopan dynasty, Ottoman threat impacts, and regional identity formation. He teaches courses like Historical Demography and Premodern History Workshop at the graduate level, and undergraduate courses on Croatian medieval history.
