Ivan Huc

Professor Ivan Huc leads the Ivan Huc Group at the Department of Pharmacy, Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (since 2017), affiliated with the Center for Integrated Protein Science. His research focuses on designing synthetic folded molecular architectures (foldamers) inspired by biopolymers but offering novel structural and functional capabilities. Key projects include molecular motor development, protein surface recognition applications, and electron transport for materials science. He collaborates with x-ray crystallography experts and maintains ties with the CBMN Laboratory in Bordeaux.
