Ivan Grigioni

Dr. Ivan Grigioni is a Research Fellow at the University of Milan's Department of Chemistry. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan in 2015 under Prof. Elena Selli and continued as a Post Doc Fellow there. Currently, he collaborates with Prof. Edward Sargent's group at the University of Toronto within the QuantumSolarFuels project, advancing renewable fuel production through photoelectrocatalytic and photocatalytic technologies.

His research focuses on solar energy conversion into storable fuels, electrochemistry, and charge carrier dynamics analysis using transient absorption spectroscopy. He is a recipient of the 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship, which supports his interdisciplinary work.

Dr. Grigioni is affiliated with the UNIMI Photocatalysis Group and contributes to collaborative projects at the University of Toronto. His work bridges fundamental material science with applied energy solutions, emphasizing sustainable fuel production.
