معرفی
Ivan D. Kojić serves as a Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and the Innovative Centre of the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade, Ltd. since 2022, following progression from Junior Research Assistant (2015-2018) to Research Assistant (2018-2022) at the same institution.
His academic credentials include:
- BSc in Chemistry (2008-2013), University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry
- MSc in Chemistry (2013-2014), University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry
- PhD in Chemistry (2014-2022), University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry
Dr. Kojić specializes in organic geochemistry and environmental chemistry, focusing on organic matter transformation in coal basins (particularly Miocene lignite in Danube regions and Tertiary Bulgarian coal basins) and analysis of environmental pollutants like organophosphate flame retardants. His methodology integrates geological, geochemical, and environmental assessment frameworks.
His scientific recognition includes:
- Award of the foundation “Professor Dr. Mirjana Šaban” for best Master thesis (2014)
He actively contributes to major research initiatives including the bilateral study of Danube region lignite (2023-2025) and Bulgarian coal basin environmental conditions (2022-2025), alongside prior work on wastewater biocatalysts and flame retardant exposure. As a member of the Serbian Chemical Society (since 2010) and European Association of Organic Geochemists (since 2019), he leverages international collaborations including the 2018 Ernst Mach grant for cross-border environmental research.
