Professor Ivan Booth is a mathematician and physicist at Memorial University, cross-appointed to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, and Physical Oceanography. He holds a B.Sc. (1995) and Ph.D. (2000) from Memorial and Waterloo Universities, respectively. His research focuses on general relativity, black hole physics, and mathematical relativity, with emphasis on black hole dynamics and spacetime geometry. He has supervised numerous graduate and undergraduate students in theoretical physics and mathematics, contributing to over 50 publications.
