Iva NENADIĆ

Iva NENADIĆ is a Visiting Professor at the European University Institute’s (EUI) Department of European Transformation and Integration Studies and an Assistant Professor of media and digital policy at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Political Science. She serves as a research fellow at EUI’s Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom, a member of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on the Impacts of GenAI for Freedom of Expression, and the Management Committee of the European Digital Media Observatory.

Her research focuses on the intersection of journalism, technology, and democracy, with a particular emphasis on governance and regulation of new technologies, power dynamics in digital spaces, and media freedom. She explores how technological advancements impact democratic processes and institutional accountability.
