Dr. Iulia Siedschlag is an Associate Research Professor at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin. Her research focuses on Competitiveness, Trade, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and the digital and green transitions of enterprises. She leads ESRI’s research on FDI and economic growth in the context of European integration.
Her expertise spans international trade, innovation economics, and environmental policy. She has advised bodies like the European Commission, World Bank, and OECD, and secured numerous competitive grants from national and international organizations. She leads international research consortia and has authored over 150 publications in top journals such as Research Policy and Regional Studies.
