Itay Fainmesser is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, where he joined in 2014. He also holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Economics at Johns Hopkins University. His research examines how social networks and social media affect and are affected by market activities and market rules, with a focus on digital economy applications.
Professor Fainmesser received his PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University and his BSc in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University, Israel. His educational background includes:
