Iskandar Zulkarnain is an Assistant Professor in the Media and Society Program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he joined the faculty in 2023. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester (2015), an M.A. from Florida State University (2008), and a B.A. from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia (2001). His academic journey includes teaching and research roles at institutions in both the U.S. and Indonesia, including President University and Universitas Padjadjaran, and a Mellon CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Rochester.
