Adel Iskandar

Adel Iskandar is an Associate Professor of Global Communication at the Simon Fraser University School of Communication. His work spans media studies, political communication, digital activism, and critical media theory, with a focus on the Middle East and transnational journalism. He has authored or co-authored major works like Egypt In Flux and Al-Jazeera: The Story of the Network. Iskandar also leads participatory research projects through initiatives like Jadaliyya and Status, emphasizing digital publishing and community storytelling.
