Isidoropaolo Casteltrione

Dr Isidoropaolo (Paolo) Casteltrione is a Lecturer at Queen Margaret University (QMU), affiliated with the Media, Communication and Performing Arts Division and Queen Margaret Business School. He holds a PhD in Political Communication (QMU, 2015), an Honours degree in Communication, Advertising, and PR (Edinburgh Napier University, 2009), and a bachelor’s degree in Communication (Università Suor Orsola Benincasa, 2006). His research focuses on social media, digital communications, political communication, and online stakeholder engagement, employing mixed methods such as surveys, interviews, and cross-national comparative studies.

He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including roles as Programme Leader for the MSc Strategic Communication and Public Relations. His expertise includes research methodologies (SPSS, NVivo), and he is a member of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) and the Applied Quantitative Methods Network (AQMeN).
