Iselin Evensen is a PhD candidate and University Lecturer at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, affiliated with the Department of Social Care/Department of Social Welfare. She serves as a course leader for PED-6103: Social and Emotional Difficulties, focusing on communication, guidance, and pedagogical subjects. Evensen is a member of the ASVF research group and the CRPD Lab project, which centers on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
Research Interests: Her work emphasizes disability rights, inclusive pedagogy, and addressing emotional/social challenges in education. She integrates creative, challenging, and aesthetic learning approaches, as evidenced by her 2023 publication.
Projects & Affiliations: Evensen contributes to the CRPD Lab at Campus Harstad (office 306) and participates in the ASVF research group. Her roles combine teaching and research, with a focus on marginalized groups and educational equity.
