Andrea Berg Foss

Andrea Berg Foss is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Social Education, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her work focuses on disability studies, intellectual disability, self-determination, work inclusion, and interprofessional collaboration.

Her recent publications explore workplace conditions for individuals with developmental disabilities, cultural sensitivity in Sami contexts, AI bias against gender, and non-pharmacological mental health treatments. She contributes to Vernepleier.no and participates in interprofessional collaboration projects.

Andrea is affiliated with the ASVF research group and serves as an employee representative at UiT. She works at the Harstad campus and can be contacted at andrea.b.foss@uit.no.
