Isabella Jie is an Indonesian pianist and educator currently affiliated with the University of Puget Sound as an Affiliate Artist of Collaborative Piano and Tacoma Community College as a Piano Faculty Member. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota (2017), a Master of Music and Performer’s Diploma from Indiana University’s Jacob’s School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music Degree (with highest honors) from the University of Toronto (2010).

Her research and professional interests revolve around Piano Performance, Collaborative Piano, and Music Pedagogy. She has adjudicated for prestigious competitions including the Washington State MTNA Performance Competition and the Indonesia International Young Musician Awards.

Isabella maintains a full private teaching studio in Gig Harbor, Washington, and previously served as President of the WSMTA - Gig Harbor chapter. At Indiana University, she taught piano courses for both music and non-music majors as part of the Young Pianist Program under Dr. Karen Taylor.
