Mia Hye Yeon Kim serves as an Instructor in the M.A. Music program at Wesleyan College, bringing extensive performance experience as both a soloist and collaborative artist to her academic role.
Education:
- Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance) from Yonsei University, South Korea
- Master of Music (Piano Performance) from New England Conservatory
- Artist Diploma (Piano Performance) from University of Cincinnati - Conservatory of Music
- Currently pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at University of Washington
Her artistic practice centers on Piano Performance, Chamber Music, and Collaborative Piano, demonstrated through performances at prestigious venues including Alvin Johnson/J.M. Kaplan Hall (New York), Jordan Hall (Boston), and Youngsan Art Hall (Seoul). She has engaged deeply with masterclasses under legendary pianists like Richard Goode and Gary Graffman, enriching her interpretive approach.
