Isabel Vogt

Isabel Vogt is an associate professor at Brown University, specializing in algebraic geometry and number theory. Her work focuses on the geometry of algebraic curves and rational points on varieties. She received her PhD from MIT in 2019 under advisors Bjorn Poonen and Joe Harris, followed by a postdoctoral position at Stanford and an assistant professorship at the University of Washington. Her research is supported by NSF grants, including an NSF CAREER Award (DMS-2338345). She currently advises one graduate student, Daksh Aggarwal.

Her educational background includes a PhD from MIT, and she has held positions at Stanford and the University of Washington before joining Brown.
