Isabel Mayo-Harp

Isabel Mayo-Harp is a Lecturer in Simon Fraser University's Department of World Languages and Literatures, specializing in technology-enhanced language pedagogy and 19th-century Hispanic cultural identities. Her teaching spans introductory to advanced Spanish courses.

Research integrates:

• Flipped classroom models for language acquisition
• Discursive constructions of nationalism
• Authentic material curation for cultural literacy
• Critical approaches to intercultural communication
