Prof. Dr. Isabel Kusche is a Professor of Sociology with a focus on digital media at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg since October 2021. She previously held academic positions at universities including Osnabrück, Kiel, and MSH Hamburg, and was a Marie Curie COFUND Fellow (2015-2018) and EURIAS Fellow (2018-2019). She is co-editor of the Journal of Sociology since 2023 and a Fellow of the Bavarian Alliance for Peace, Conflict, and Security Research since 2025.
