Isabel Forrest is a Senior Lecturer in Media Production at Bournemouth University, where she serves as Programme Leader for the BA TV Production Hons. degree. With extensive industry experience at the BBC and collaborations with major advertising agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, her work bridges academic pedagogy and media industry practice. She focuses on student-centric education and interdisciplinary approaches to media production.
Her research explores the pedagogical challenges of networking in freelance media work, analyzing precarity and fragmentation in project-based economies. This builds on her industry leadership roles, including Creative Director positions during BBC channel rebrands and the Broadcasting Centres Project.
