Prof. Irvine John is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of St Andrews, UK, since 1999. He holds honorary and visiting professorships at institutions like South West University (China), Beijing Normal University (China), and Queen's University Belfast (UK). His academic roles include Directorships in the Scottish Energy Technology Partnership and Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Association, alongside industry leadership as CEO of St Andrews Fuel Cells (2000–2010).
