Irma Marco is a Lecturer at EINA Degree in Design and teaches at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) for the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Design, Branding, and Visual Identity. She previously served as an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and Escola Massana.

Her research explores art's role in mediating digital transformation and civic engagement, with a focus on installation, sound, and networked art practices. Recent publications address human-machine ethics, social media's impact on public space, and alternative publishing.
Scientific awards include the 2023 CMCVaCasa Cultura Online award, 2022 UMH Permanent Collection Award, and recognition at the 2022 ISEA symposium. She collaborates with institutions like MACBA and participates in residencies such as Creadors en Residència (Barcelona).
