Iris Leisner-Ruppin

Iris Leisner-Ruppin is a Professor in the Social Sciences school at Saarland University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Fields of Action and Methods of Childhood Education. Her research focuses on democratic education, participatory learning, parent collaboration, and professional development in early childhood settings.

She is affiliated with the Research and Transfer Center for Social Integration and Migration (GIM) and contributes to journals such as KiTa aktuell. Her projects include evaluations of family daycare centers and professionalization of leadership behavior in early education sectors.
