معرفی
Iris Haumann is a Research Fellow at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Medicine, affiliated with the Institute of Neuroanatomy within the Center for Experimental Medicine. Her work focuses on neuroanatomical processes including neuronal migration, synaptic physiology, and retinal development. She holds a Dr. phil. nat. degree and is based at the Eppendorf Campus in Hamburg.
Research interests include molecular mechanisms of neuronal migration, glutamate receptor function in photoreceptors, and hippocampal circuitry development. Her team examines signaling pathways in stem cells and synaptic connectivity in Cajal-Retzius cells.
Publications highlight studies on GPER1 receptor signaling in cell migration (2020), GluK5 receptor localization in rod photoreceptors (2017), and hippocampal synaptic development (2016).
Contactable at i.haumann@uke.de, located in N61 building, room 207. Fluent in German, English, and French.
