معرفی
Irina Osadchuk is a Research Fellow at Tallinn University of Technology's School of Science, Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology. She holds a Doctor's Degree (2017) and Master's Degree (2007) from Tallinn University of Technology. Her research focuses on theoretical and experimental studies of supramolecular systems, chirogenesis, catalytic properties of metal complexes, and sustainable chemical synthesis. She has been involved in multiple projects funded by Estonian Research Council and other entities, including 'Phosphorus Fertilisers and Rare Metals from Estonian Phosphorite in a Waste-Free Way' (2023–2027).
Her research interests span theoretical chemistry, photochemistry, organometallic chemistry, and electromagnetism. She has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed publications, with recent work exploring ionic liquid applications, porphyrin-based sensors, and mechanistic studies of aminocatalysts. Notable awards include the 2020 Tallinn University of Technology best research article award for her work on mechanochemical synthesis.
As a mentor, she advises doctoral students Hanna-Eliisa Luts and Kerli Tali. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges computational modeling, experimental chemistry, and sustainable technologies, with a focus on advancing green chemistry and chiral recognition systems.
