معرفی
Dr Irina Ermolina is a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University's Leicester School of Pharmacy, specializing in pharmaceutical solids and powders, hydrogels, dielectric spectroscopy, and freeze-drying processes. She earned her PhD in Molecular Physics from the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics in Kazan, Russia.
- Expertise in dielectric spectroscopy, terahertz spectroscopy, and thermoanalytical methods
- Specializes in freeze-drying pharmaceuticals and hydrogel characterization
- Teaches pharmaceutical technology, analytical techniques, and quality by design
Her research focuses on developing analytical techniques for drug delivery systems, stability characterization of freeze-dried products, and protein dynamics. Publications highlight applications of impedance spectroscopy in pharmaceutical processes, including sublimation monitoring and collapse temperature prediction. She supervises 6 PhD students and has secured internal funding for projects on protein-based therapeutics and roller compaction imaging.
Scientific Awards:
