Dr. Irena Todorović is a Researcher at the Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection under the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" (IBISS), affiliated with the University of Belgrade. She holds dual doctoral degrees from the University of Lyon (France) and the University of Belgrade (Serbia), specializing in soil microbiology and plant-pathogen interactions.

Her research focuses on soil suppressiveness to pathogenic fungi (e.g., *Fusarium graminearum*), leveraging microbial ecology and biotechnology to enhance plant resilience.
