Irena Krumes

Irena Krumes is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Communications and Tourism, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. She specializes in early language development, educational methodologies, and media literacy. Her work focuses on fostering pre-reading and writing skills, the role of language games in child development, and the application of digital tools in education.

Dr. Krumes has mentored over 60 student theses, including studies on children's literature, speech development, and inclusive teaching practices. She has also served on numerous academic committees, emphasizing project-based learning and the integration of multimedia in primary education.
