Irena Dragiycheva serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Public Buildings at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UASG), Sofia, Bulgaria, with office cabinet 1001.

Her research centers on Socialist Architecture, Post-Socialism, Totalitarianism, and Civil Ritual Buildings, examining architectural expressions of authoritarian regimes and civic ceremonial spaces. She actively engages in teaching, scientific research, and design projects within public architecture.

She conducts student mentoring and holds reception hours on Mondays from 14:00 to 16:00 during summer semesters. Fluent in written and spoken English, she maintains professional activity in architectural education and research.
