Katya Issa

Katya Issa serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Sport at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. Her academic foundation includes three higher education degrees from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Bulgarian Philology, Arabic Philology, and Philosophy.

She actively contributes to editorial boards of the journal "Language and Literature", the "Problems of Sociolinguistics" series, and the UASG Annual.

Her professional activities encompass teaching language culture and linguistic disciplines to Bulgarian students, specialized Bulgarian language instruction for foreign students/refugees, philosophical discipline instruction, and Arabic-English translation work.
