Ira Vannini is a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Education Studies 'Giovanni Maria Bertin' at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. Her research focuses on educational evaluation, formative assessment, curriculum planning, teacher training using video analysis, and monitoring educational innovation in schools. She employs quantitative research methods and educational evaluation frameworks. She teaches courses on educational research methodology and theories of planning/evaluation for pre-service teachers.
