Professor Iqbal Mujtaba is a Professor of Computational Process Engineering and Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) at the University of Bradford. He holds prestigious fellowships from the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng) and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE), and is a Chartered Chemical Engineer. He is also an honorary professor at East China University of Science & Technology (ECUST), the University of Jordan, and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). His research focuses on desalination, wastewater treatment, dynamic modeling of chemical processes, and the water-energy-food nexus. He has supervised over 40 PhD students and authored/co-authored multiple books on process engineering and water management, including Batch Distillation: Design & Operation and Desalination Technologies: Design and Operation.
