Ionel Haiduc

Professor Ionel Haiduc is a Full Professor at Babes-Bolyai University's Department of Chemistry and President of the Romanian Academy. His 50+ year career features groundbreaking work in inorganic and organometallic chemistry, particularly in supramolecular systems and metal-based therapeutics. He leads major interdisciplinary initiatives like the METALLOMICS project exploring anticancer metallodrugs.

His research spans:
