Ion Culeac serves as an Associate Professor and Leading Scientific Researcher at the Laboratory of Optoelectronics 'Andrei Andriesh' within the Institute of Applied Physics at Moldova State University in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
Dr. Culeac's research focuses on optoelectronic materials and devices, with particular emphasis on semiconductor physics and photonic applications. His work contributes to the development of advanced optoelectronic components used in communications, sensing technologies, and energy conversion systems. The laboratory participates in numerous national and international research initiatives, including projects funded through ANCD, CSSDT, and European Union programs such as FP7 and H2020.
As a Coordinating Scientific Researcher, Dr. Culeac oversees research activities within the laboratory which is equipped with specialized facilities for materials characterization and device fabrication.
