Ioannis Patrikios is a Professor of Biochemistry and Deputy Dean at the School of Medicine, European University Cyprus. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The City University of New York (1994) and a BSc in Biochemistry (1986). His research focuses on biochemistry, multiple sclerosis treatment (particularly Neuroaspis PLP10), anticancer agents, omega fatty acids, and clinical trials. He leads Phase III clinical trials for neurodegenerative diseases and has pioneered nutraceutical interventions for MS. Awards include the Forensic Fellows of Medical Science (2015), Scuola Superiore d'Immunologia Fellowship (2001), and Sigma Xi Honor Society membership (1994).
