Andreas Yiallouris

Andreas Yiallouris is an Assistant Professor in Applied Dental Biochemistry at the Department of Medicine, European University Cyprus (EUC). He holds a PhD in Medicine from the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens (2020), an MSc in Molecular Medicine from the University of Essex (2012), and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Cyprus (2011). His research focuses on cancer mechanisms, natural extracts in medicine, and cellular physiology, with a particular emphasis on anticancer compounds and mitochondrial-endoplasmic reticulum interactions.

He leads two research projects: Cancer Treatment using Natural Extracts and P-Type ATPases involvement in cancer, serving as the primary investigator. His publications span oncology, endocrinology, and molecular biology, with recent contributions on microbial therapy integration within the One Health framework and mitochondrial dysfunction in cancer.
