Ioannis Angelakis is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of South Wales, affiliated with the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education and the Psychology Department. His research focuses on suicide prevention, mental health treatment protocols for trauma and mental illnesses (depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD), and resilience mechanisms in vulnerable populations. He currently supervises three PhD students as Director of Studies (DoS).
