Inna Adamson is an Associate Professor in Contrastive Linguistics and Lexicology at Tallinn University. She holds a Master's and PhD in Russian Philology from the same institution, following undergraduate studies at St. Petersburg State University. Her expertise spans semantics, grammar, sociolinguistics, and Russian as a foreign language.
Key responsibilities include teaching modern Russian language/culture, lexicology, morphology, syntax, and text analysis. She supervises BA/MA theses, student pedagogical practice, and professional development programs. Additionally, she contributes to scientific publication editing.
Research focuses on Russian language outside Russia, with international presentations in 10+ countries including Finland, China, and Spain. She co-authored the innovative teaching manual Contact Game: Simulation Life in Moscow and has conducted guest lectureships at Technical University Burgenland (Austria).
