Inmaculada M. García-Sánchez

Inmaculada M. García-Sánchez is a faculty member at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), affiliated with the Department of Education. Her research bridges educational ethnography, linguistic anthropology, and migration studies, focusing on the intersection of language practices, schooling of immigrant children, and sociopolitical processes. She explores how educational justice interacts with cultural recognition and belonging for immigrant youth through critical ethnographic, historical, and discursive analyses.
