Dr. Inkyoung Kim is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Co-coordinator for the Democratic Governance and Leadership Program at Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has previously taught at Clark University and Reed College.

Her research focuses on regional environmental cooperation, transboundary pollution, and government and politics in East Asia, with particular attention to sustainable consumption patterns and international frameworks for environmental governance.
Recent publications explore the science-policy interface in East Asia, WTO trade disputes, and free trade agreements as tools for environmental cooperation. Her work appears in journals like International Relations of the Asia-Pacific and International Environmental Agreements.
She teaches courses including POLI 275 Comparative Government, POLI 488 Politics in the Developing World, and POLI 475 Global Environmental Politics, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to governance challenges.
