Ingunn Henriksen Leeber is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of General Practice, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. She specializes in general medicine and geriatrics, with a focus on salutogenesis (health-creating processes) and metacognitive therapy (MCT) for stress management.

Her research explores biopsychosocial health models, psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology (PNIE), and community-based interventions for chronic illnesses, particularly medically unexplained physical symptoms (MUPS). She leads the General Practitioners' Committee in Tønsberg and contributes to the NaKuHel Norway method for public health implementation.
