Ingrid Zukerman is a Professor in the Department of Data Science & AI at Monash University, Faculty of Information Technology. She has served as Chief Examiner and Lecturer for multiple units including Intelligent Systems, Advanced Topics in Intelligent Systems, Computer Science Project, and Computer Architecture and Networks.

Her research focuses on Natural Language Processing, Discourse Planning, User Modelling, and Plan Recognition, with recent work in Explainable AI and Multi-modal Dialogue Systems. Current projects include:
- Accessible Data Exploration and Analysis for Blind People (2023-2027, ARC-funded)
- Improving human reasoning with causal Bayes networks (2020-2024, PCI role)
- Explainable AI systems for complex models (2018-2022)
She has contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals through education-focused research and has extensive collaborative work in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction.
