Dr Ingrid Piller, FAHA, holds dual prestigious appointments as Alexander-von-Humboldt Professor for "Linguistic Diversity and Social Participation across the Lifespan" at University of Hamburg, Germany, and Distinguished Professor of Applied Linguistics at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
