Ingrid Paulsen

Dr. Ingrid Paulsen is a Scientific Associate in the English Department at Kiel University, where she conducts research at the intersection of linguistics and language teaching methodology. Her academic work focuses on cognitive approaches to language instruction and the historical development of English varieties, particularly American English.

Her research interests span language teaching methodology, with emphasis on linguistic variation in English language teaching, pronunciation instruction, vocabulary acquisition, and plurilingual competence development.
