Ingrid Kögel-Knabner

Prof. Dr. Dr. hc Ingrid Kögel-Knabner has been the Dean of the TUM School of Life Sciences since 1995, holding the Chair of Soil Science at the Technical University of Munich in Freising-Weihenstephan. She studied geoecology at the University of Bayreuth, graduating in 1983, and later habilitated there before joining Ruhr University Bochum as a professor.
