Ingrid Gustafsson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Borås, Faculty of Caring Science, Work Life and Social Welfare, Department of Care Sciences. She is a specialist nurse in emergency care with focus on anesthesia care, contributing to both research and education since 2021.

Her research focuses on Humans in Healthcare and Healthcare Science, particularly in the area of Heat-conserving Interventions from patient and surgical team perspectives. She also contributes to pedagogy research in healthcare education.
She is actively involved in academic networks including the Nordic College of Caring Science (NCCS) and the Australian College of Perioperative Nurses (ACORN), while serving on the operational group for the Centre for Interprofessional Collaboration in Acute Care (CISA).
