Ingrid Eskild is a Doctoral Research Fellow in Cultural History and Museology at the University of Oslo, focusing on 19th-century science communication through periodicals. - BA in Middle Eastern Studies with Arabic (2019), University of Oslo
- BA in History (2017), University of Oslo/NTNU
Her research explores the aesthetics of scientific diagrams in historical periodicals, analyzing motifs like microscopic views and solar system models. She investigates how these representations were mediated through transnational networks and evolving printing technologies, contributing to knowledge history and modernity studies.
Eskild's publications demonstrate interdisciplinary engagement across international relations, medical humanities, and STS. Her work traces epistemological shifts in scientific visualization and political legitimacy frameworks through historical epidemics and nomadic epistemologies.
