Ingrid Dobrovits

Mag. Ingrid Dobrovits is a Senior Lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business's Department of Educational Science. She holds a Mag.rer.soc.oec. in Business Education from WU Vienna and studied abroad at Lund University. Her educational background includes doctoral studies in business education and secondary education at BHAK Gänserndorf.

Her research focuses on Didactics of Accounting, E-learning methodologies, and innovative teaching approaches. Primary research areas include multiple-choice assessment design, emotional design in educational videos, flipped classroom models, and outdoor learning concepts for accounting education. She co-leads research on educational technology integration in business curricula.

Dobrovits has received multiple teaching awards including the

• WU Award for Excellent Teaching (2024, 2017, 2011, 2009)
• WU Award for Innovative Teaching (2009)

She teaches courses including Annual Financial Statements and Company Reports, Accounting Didactics, Business Teaching Methods, and Teacher Behavior Training. She currently coordinates courses in the Winter Semester 2025/26 program.

Her projects include the TEMPUS initiative for Entrepreneurship Education in the RF region and development of e-learning platforms for small businesses. She collaborates with colleagues on educational innovation projects and presents regularly at academic conferences.
