Ingrid Arnet Connidis

Ingrid Arnet Connidis is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Western Ontario. Her research specializes in family ties across the life course, with emphasis on aging, ambivalence in relationships, and LGBTQ+ family dynamics.

She investigates how gender, class, and social structures shape family connections, with recent projects examining intergenerational relationships and gay/lesbian family experiences.
